AmCham Hungary Internship Program 2009

AmCham Hungary Internship Program 2009

AmCham Hungary's internship program is offered throughout the year to graduate/undergraduate students and recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on work experience as well as exposure to practices in international business and trade policy. The AmCham internship program is especially beneficial for applicants interested in government policy, public relations, marketing and business administration.

While the term of internship may vary by individual and department, we require a minimum commitment of 3 months and consider both part-time and full-time applicants.

Qualifications

Interns can enjoy a wide range of experiences while working at AmCham. We treat all interns with professionalism, and we expect like attitude and commitment. All applicants must be proficient in both spoken and written English and have basic computer skills. Basic knowledge of government and economic policy would also be beneficial.

Compensation

The program at AmCham is an unpaid internship. As a non-profit organization, AmCham is unable to offer its interns monetary compensation. However, AmCham provides value no other organization can offer. Our interns are able to receive the exposure we believe is essential for someone who is about to enter the business world.

AmCham provides its interns with hands-on work experience in the industry of their interest, an opportunity to develop professional business skills, and a chance to network with international business leaders and gain a wider understanding of the foreign business environment in Hungary. Moreover, interns are invited to all AmCham meetings and events. At these meetings, interns may attend presentations by world-class guest speakers from Hungary and abroad and take advantage of the chance to meet and network with successful business leaders of various industries.
